CV

My name is Joshua Watkins and I am 22 years old.

My love for films began back in 2011 where I'd seen Silence Of The Lambs for the first time. It was at that point I'd decided I wanted to study the craft so I took up Creative Media Level 2 and 3 at Barnet & Southgate College in 2012 which expanded over four years.

During my time at Barnet and Southgate, I've made a music video, a 5 minute short called "Consequences" Two short documentaries about War and "I have a dream" in preparation for Black History Month and a short two minute advert.  I've worked on a 10 minute film called "Bully" where I was asked to be the "Photographer"  and the "Sound Operator" on separate days of course.

After  I left Barnet and Southgate where I have many, many fond memories of I had moved to Essex and found myself a BA Film & TV course at South Essex College. During the first year, I've worked on a one minute self Portrait, a 2 minute B&W Silent film and a 5 minute film. All of which was an experience and really fun to do. I also worked in a Television Studio setting at the college which was exciting as I hadn't done anything like that before.

I am currently on my 2nd year of this BA course. I've decided it's time to step up my game more. To push myself  further. I am working on a 10 minute film called Alice & Jack, in fact, that picture of me is from Day 1 of filming Alice & Jack. It's a lot of fun the actors are professional and friendly and I've got a good, hard working crew to back me up.  I always try to be punctual and professional with film making and I always try to find multiple ways of doing things. I don't give up on the work I do because I love  what I do and because of that I will continue to work as hard as I possibly can do.

So that's me in a nutshell, have a good day.
